The LGG was formed by a software engineer who’s passion was improving his own game of golf. While working for large companies, Tony Ianazone was always looking for time to practice his game. He studied all the PGA players golf swings and soon was competing on his own. Because of his engineering way of thinking, he started to enjoy teaching the game more than playing. He found out that he had a great gift for helping others reach their potential in game. He noticed that most everyone who struggled with their golf game had a common problem. After giving thousands of golf lessons, he realized that the grip was the most important part of the golf swing and everyone was struggling with it. He then set out to figure a way to help others with this problem. He noticed that there were other trainings aids on the market that attempted to fix this problem but they really did not work. The existing grip training aids would either have markings on a grip or little groves in the grip that showed where to place your fingers. This did not address the real problem. The real problem was that he needed a way to get people to place their hand correctly on the grip. Not just show you where your fingers go. There was nothing on the market that would force or position your hand on the club the correct way. So he decided to invent a product that would do this. The LGG was born. Patented in 2020, Tony started making them in his garage.
